10 Second Mixtape is a casual game about teaming up to make 10-second songs with other real people from all over the world. Every track in the game is player-generated; absolutely nothing is prewritten.
Don't worry if you're not musically inclined! There are no winners here — it's all about having fun and making silly sounds.
You load into The Venue, your favorite spot to hang out and watch bands! The bands playing are all other players' creations. Your ratings will affect how often that band is booked for shows in everyone else's games.
When you start the game, you'll be given a random instrument and bandmate, and you'll record a 10 second track.
From there, it's time to add more layers! You can pick from demo tapes sent in by other potential band members to add to your track.
Finally, it's time to take this show on the road! Watch your band perform the full song live in front of their new fans. Your new 10-second song will go into the infinite playlist of bands that play at The Venue.

This game sniped me. Wasn't expecting to spend so much time on it making songs and voting on other people's songs lmao. Anyway if you hear the among us trap remix song by Quiet Giselle or The Orderly Servitude that's probably me
I agree with other commenters who said having a code to access a specific song would be a really cool idea!
And the upright bass isn't working, so watch out for that.

Not sure if you're still developing it, but you could add a way to save bands (maybe save codes) so you can share them later.

This is such a cool game concept, and I've had a blast playing it. Especially since I love games where you get to play music!! Big fan of the artwork too :3
Also, The Onset fucking slaps and I so wish they were a real band, or even that I could download their track to play on repeat hehe.

sort of. it does take many players to play. it's not at the same time, no, but that would be kind of a mess, and hard to play with others as it's a niche thing, a game on itch

This is SOO CREATIVE! I love this game so much! You should make a full version. Maybe a version where you can make music with friends live. Then record it like if you were a real band. Dunno anyway love the concept :)

oh I LOVE this concept! The only feedback/feature request I hae is to create a section where I could see the compositions people did with my snippets -- I would LOVE that.

It was working totally fine 2 days ago. went to hop on today and it isnt showing any bands and when i go to play it gets stuck on a black screen. amazing game though! hope they get it working soon
